Geralyn R. Lawrence is an attorney with 25+ years of experience representing thousands of clients. Licensed in the District of Columbia as well as Maryland Attorney Lawrence has primarily concentrated on litigation in the areas of criminal defense, family law(divorce, separation, custody & child support), probate and personal injury in DC & MD. She has successfully represented individuals in need of zealous representation and is a trained mediator and negotiator – able to successfully resolve disputes without the need for extensive court litigation.

She has been awarded Top 10 Attorneys and Firms for Client Satisfaction from American Institute of Legal Counsel. She has also been a member of associations including the American Bar Association, the MD State Bar Association, the Superior Court Trial Lawyers Association, the Maryland Association for Justice, the Prince George’s County Bar Association and the District of Columbia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

Geralyn R. Lawrence graduated from Temple University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society, Dean’s List, and awarded the Betram K. Wolfe Award. She further attended Temple University summer abroad session at the University of Rome, Italy, and she graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a B.A. in Economics.

Geralyn is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia; the State of Maryland; and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She is a Member of the District of Columbia Court of Appeals; the Court of Appeals of Maryland; the United States District Court of the District of Columbia and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
